We are looking for a Handyman to join our team.

Schedule

Must be flexible, week days, but occasional early evenings and/or weekends

 

Job Duties

Interior, exterior repairs and general renovations and basic construction

 

Skill Set & Knowledge

• Practical knowledge of home/building maintenance and general construction
• Practical knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools

 

Applicants with the following experience will be given priority

• All aspects of renovation work, framing, boarding, mudding & taping
• Minor plumbing & minor electrical
• Painting, basic to intermediate home maintenance
• Flooring – wood, laminate, tile
• Decking – wood, composite, concrete
• Fencing, siding, pressure washing, hardscape landscaping

 

Personality Traits

• Strong work ethic, self motivated and high personal standards
• Reliable, responsible and dependable
• Punctual, well groomed, non-smoker during work hours
• Able to work with or without supervision
• Must have their own vehicle

 

Additional Requirements

• Valid Ontario driver’s license
• Able to maintain a safe, tidy work space at all times
• Professional and courteous demeanour
• Familiarity with Ontario building codes a plus
